Hannah
Rose & Daisy's Mommy, Co-Founder & Trustee

After losing Rose I wanted to do something to help parents and families who have tragically lost their baby. I remember driving home from the hospital the night Rose passed away feeling numb and completely alone, I felt like the world was still spinning and I was stationary, holding a handful of leaflets about what to do after your baby died.

I thought to myself that I never wanted anyone else to feel that way and that I wanted to do what I could to help. That was when the Rose Peters Foundation was born.

In August 2020 I lost my second daughter Daisy and it only felt right to change the name of the charity to The Rose and Daisy Foundation in memory of both of my daughters, my hero’s and my inspiration for everything that I do.

Jamie
Rose & Daisy's Daddy, Co-Founder & Chair of Trustees

Hi!
I'm Jamie, Rose & Daisy's dad and co-founder of The Rose & Daisy Foundation. After the loss of our two beautiful daughters we wanted to help other parents and families going through what we endured and provide a safe space for them to talk and find support.

A big focus of mine is supporting bereaved dads through this journey.

My daughters mean the world to me and have helped shape the man I am today. They also give me the strength to continue supporting all families who have experienced baby loss.

Tom
Trustee

Hi, I’m Tom. Living locally to the foundation, I have been a trustee from the point it was founded. Being a trustee allows me to support Jamie, Hannah and everyone involved with the R&D Foundation in raising awareness around infant loss but to also continue the legacy Rose and Daisy have left with us all.

Vanessa
Social Media Lead

My name is Vanessa and I’m the Social Media Lead at the Rose & Daisy Foundation. I’m passionate about using social media as a tool for wellbeing, and connecting people. I wanted to help the charity because I could see how social media could be beneficial for bereaved parents as a way to support one another and realise they aren’t alone.
